Has anyone fallen over yet?
Today i went to cross a road thinking, that car is going so slow due to ice i’ll definitely make it.. low and behold i slip onto my arse! it’s so slippy i struggle to get up while the car is skidding toward me so i end up crawling out of the way! my whole life flashed before my eyes.
What a comical start to my day..
…oh and painful

December 20, 2010 at 9:48 pm #1232906Recently got back from Thailand & Malaysia. Me & girlfriend laying on the beach in 36 deg c heat and came back to -6 deg c. Have hardly ventured outside since (only for work). I know I’m not gonna get any sympathy, but my god I’m really feeling this!
December 20, 2010 at 9:56 pm #1232888Thankfully there is less snow/ice in the East than SE England today, I might even venture out on my bike tomorrow if the roads have been properly gritted..

my mates used to tat a mixture of fire alarm sirens, xmas tree lights and CW1308 (telecoms cable) and I’d wire all this up to a hidden switches to act as a doorbell which would work however fucked people were inside the building.
just a thought – has the schools bell system been completely removed, or is it still there? 😉

December 21, 2010 at 5:41 pm #1232897Well with your beautiful face (avatar) everyone will want to employ you!
December 26, 2010 at 2:29 pm #1232889it snowed a bit (or snew as they say here) on Xmas eve, annoying as it was almost like hail being blown into my face whilst trying to ride my bike..
For some reason I decided to start singing this at the snow (I had always wondered if kids in the Netherlands also learned the song about a mouse and his prolific breeding habits – and indeed they do!)
Ik zag een muis!
Waar?
Daar op de trap!
Waar op de trap?
Nou daar!
Een kleine muis op klompjes,
nee, ‘t is geen grap,
‘t ging van klip klippedieklap op de trap.ironically there is a shortage of outdoor mice and rats this winter (they would quite understandably stay inside), which is causing problems for owls and other birds of prey…
