thats unfair to the child as he/she will be lonely and not interract with any children their own age, which is essential in growing up.
also its a bit mean really, as they wont have many friends, maybe none…kids like that end up being weird, and you may here about them in years to come in the papers.
do u believe in tarot cards? i mean really believe in them? or do u live your life to perivious readings but subconsiously doing it on purpose?

schools like a crazy place in playground..its not good to have all those kids together wer they tease and bully n etc..with wat? one dinner lady in playground who blatently dont give a fuck..doesnt protect them.and doesn’t know them.
i can remeber bein in that very school being molested by a boy too scared to say anything at ten yrs old.
i dont want that happening to my kids..im their mother n should be there for them for those six hours 5 days a week..its insane.not to be.
the p.e teachers man handle the pupils ..ive com
plained but its procedure and they are allowed to man handle them too.read the small print.so my son doesn’t play football cos the p.e teacher likes to grab em from scruff of neck n push em about.8 yrs old n 9yr olds.my son is amazing at football too.my kids mix wiv kids more outa school than in school aaaanyway.cos i aint an nerdy mum who stays in all time n wrap em in cotton wool n only sends em school n butlin holidays etc..they experience life with me for real.
if i home tutored id take him wiv me..and where we be goin there be plenty kids in same boat.but wiv real loving ppl who know them inside n out to supervise them and teach them well.
one on one..not one in 30 like u get in classes.so concentration levels fall n sum kids never learn anything..like i did.
the only time i can go traveling wiv kids is while its school holidays, which aint much attal, rest of year im stuck to this place cos if kids dont go school we get fined£1000 or i go prison.so kids go to school and im stuck at home cos i have to drop em off n pick up daily at school(insitution)its not just the kids freedom but sendin kids to school keeps the parents on lockdown too.5 days outa seven for 6 n half hours daily.my boy got in a few bits of trouble in lower school ie fiddling in class room n talking..the head teacher put this on his report..detentioned my boy endless times..n just basicly gave my son a shit reputation wiv his next school…now everytime my son fiddles in his class room he is given bad report A ACTUAL YELLOW CARD OR RED CARD,SINCE HE STARTED MIDDLE SCHOOL NOT EVEN A YEAR AGO HE HAS HAD 35 CARDS n teachers talking of suspension..remeber the child on fiddles n chats occasionly when he shouldn’t ..n this report goes onto next school..my childs been labeled as bad for fuck all..they look upon my child with negative eyes..that aint doin him no justice.when he gets a card he cries because he is so fearfull of what will happen next to him..for fuckall.
and you know how the teachers love to assume and pick on you take out there own bad days on you.well i do!systems fucked.and this is truth that ive seen,id rather negative energy come from me or ma friends than a teacher who i dont kno or even likethis is comming from a mother who has actually experienced the effects of schooling on her own children and herself n friends who all say same..and tbh its not fucking goood in most cases..cos we ghetto youth?.ya get me.we get classed n judged.and they already said my son wont amount to much.I SAID TO THEM MY CHILD WILL SUCCEED BECAUSE HE HAS A MOTHER WHO BELIEVE IN HIM.

I only skim-read this but it left me scratching my head.
If your kids socialise more out of school than they do when they’re there then what difference do you think it will make plucking them out??? In addition, how do you think you’d be able to offer them a better education when you flunked your GCSEs because you got knocked up?
You go on about not ‘wrapping them up in cotton wool’ and letting them ‘experience life’ but then go on to explain how your littlun is already doing/selling drugs & how they get in loads of trouble at school… Maybe you should have wrapped them up a little then don’t ya think??? If you had laid down the gauntlet a bit and exercised some control then maybe you wouldn’t be in this situation?
Just a thought.
Where do you live anyway? I get the impression it’s pretty shab…

so i take it you enjoyed school? No not really. Not at all. But I’m glad I went all the same.
What I was meaning is that I feel strongly about parents who try and blame school (or anything else for that matter) for their own shortfallings…
I’m not suggesting this is the case with you though.
May 8, 2006 at 12:21 pm #1072588i cant believe u dont let your son play footbal because teachers ‘man handle ‘ the pupils…
I played in sports teams at schools from 9 years old to i was 17……and if the teachers were a bit heavy with you, its beacuse you deser ved it….tbh it did me the world of good….
How can you say u dont want to paper your son, but then too scared for it to play footy…i bet he is gutted and this could lead to other kids being nasty at school tio him…

i was reading an artical in our local news paper yesterday..long read but funny
the heading was-Teach your kids to get a life-
Teach your kids to get a life
Millions of middle-class children are underperformi ng at school because their parents are too soft to impose rules.
This is the view of Mick Brookes, general secretary of the National Association of Headteachers.
I never trusted any teacher liberal enough to allow his first name to be used, so I shall call him Mr Brookes.
He says we send our youngsters to school ‘unfit to learn’. We let them stay up too late watching TV and fail to impose healthy diets.
Schools, of course, are well known for healthy food, where a plate of chips or tuck shop is hardly ever seen.
And did not kids always stay up late – even before computers and portable TVs? I spent my teenage years happy with no more than a torch and a book under the bedclothes late into the night. Also before I started school I could read, write and add up. When I left 11 years later, I could read, write, add up and knew what an oxbow lake was, the declension of a few Latin nouns and was aware that Metternich was a sly old politician.
I decided to get a bit more education later in life when it was less likely to have to duck as the blackboard rubber winged past my ear.
Now there is only one chance for children and parents must not waste it. Recently we were blamed for taking kids on holidays during school term. It seems there is nothing we can do to please teachers. The present Mrs Lowe and I spend time most evenings helping with the homework, which grows in volume year on year.
At one school we even have to fill in some kind of contract, confirming the amount of work we plan to do. Now I have no intention of having a go at headteachers, especially as only old people and amateur actors are more sensitive to criticism.
I am sure they all work very hard in trying conditions and fully deserve their decent salaries, long holidays, index-linked pensions and early retirement.
The job is much harder than it used to be, is not one I would fancy doing, and we certainly need them. I just wish they, or at least their spokesmen, would be more cheerful about it.
Still, as teachers are blameless for any failings of our education system and the Government is both spending more money than ever before and showing a moral lead, we parents must plead guilty.
So here are some parental dos and donts.
If it can be avoided, don’t have children at all, as they are obviously a burden on the state and it is cheaper to import fully educated adults.
If you must have children do not give them common forenames, as it confuses teachers at registration and gives the kids an inferiority complex.
Do not criticise schools or teachers in front of the children as negative talk can undermine their authority.
Do not take holidays out of term time; instead take a month in the summer, preferably in the Dordogne under canvas. That way when teachers read what you did in the holidays they can relate to it.
Do turn up at parents’ evenings, where you will be rightly chastised in a slightly patronising manner for not having produced well-behaved geniuses.
Do try and enjoy the Christmas nativity play as some parents have been seen to nod off when their precious little one isn’t murdering a carol.
And finally, do teach your children to get a life and go out and enjoy themselves. After all, only so many people can be heads of teaching unions at any one time.
thing is the kids are being taught by the ones who apprently started failing in school it stems from generation to generation..we cant blame the children.for the teachers short comming in other words!which is what the system basicly does?

no my son doesn’t want to play cos the p.e teacher pushes them all about..he is a wicked football player i want him to play, but because of the p.e teachers attitude he wont play for the school..he says “mum would u liked to be pushed around by the neck” i say no id get cross!ive complained but they say the p.e teacher is good n following procedure.pfffft
May 8, 2006 at 12:48 pm #1072594DG never give up hope gal, i know how ya feel about schools, kids are really tasty to each other, and if ya aint got the latest gadgets or your artistic like my daughter people can make your life hell, it makes me sad fighting with my daughter every day to go to school, i love it when she is on holidays and the attitude disappears and we get on even better, dont let these people get ya down cause they get off on looking down at our ideas and wanting to be part of a community, we know whats real to us, my brothers kids were home tutored and they are ahead of their class now, it can be done gal, i know i got to get more real people in my life that would love to see us shine instead of trying to keep us down, i am working on it, we have each other gal and thats a start, we aint alone though and one day we’ll find our place where we can help others too and fly…. woooooo
