Hi

Maybe you could mention a couple of things that made you post on a rival SJ site?

I like SJ, but I am tired of sifting through the reams of rubbish to get at the rare cogent comment. The main posters on SJ are underage bores full of shit about what type of sandwich they had for lunch.

YAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wouldn’t really call PV & SJ rivals mate. Each site has respect for the other. Wouldn’t like to seperate them up, even though there are differences.

both SJ and PV are fine – there is good stuff on SJ but it gets buried quickly, main reason I stopped using it wasbecause my work blocked it – I can’t keep up with the threads any more as I only go on the net at weekends for a few hours when I am not raving or at a friends house!

but there is a small a minority of people who won’t “check themselves” though and let trolls/arguments etc get too far (like beyond jokes, where personal stuff/info on rigs cops could use against parties leaks out). sometimes not a good idea to wash your dirty pants in public.

and TBH the “kids” on SJ are alright – its the older people there who are often more bitter and twisted…

even with the sandwich threads you sometimes get a few good recipes posted there (nothing wrong with talking about food IMO :D)

there is space for both sites, and I suggest crews post their details on both of them for parties (more and more people who work though are having to use filtered/censored connections_

incidentally I think the kid in the front blew all his money (including repeat fees etc!) on drugs – ended up as a security guard at a mall (was one of the black kids anyway)

punched out a young woman who laughed at him and either went to jail and/or is dead now.

it was Gary Coleman. Claims he was cheated out of his royalties by his parents, didn’t do any major prison time for hitting the woman (maybe a few days in cells), wasn’t actually a guard but was in the mall trying to scrape a few cents from his past fame. He in fact did successfully ressurect his media career (still turns up in crappy US dramas now and then) and was last heard of trying to run for senate (wanted to set up a state insurance scheme for healthcare, hmm wonder where he got that idea from!)

Dana Coleman (Kimberley, the white teenage girl) is definitely dead. She got dumped by the industry after the show finished, also got into drugs, her comeback didn’t work and she was pretty much broken on the Howard Stern show (loads of people (i think some knew her and she had pissed them off in the past) called in and slated her)

Committed suicide soon afterwards.
