Cunts
3 have just been round ‘on the off chance’ and I stood my ground and refused to give them any money as it was agreed to be sorted this evening,
I enquired why they are now over charging us and blatently refused to give them a penny more than was agreed and they walked off.
Am so angry I am shaking but feel good for not backing down raaathanks for listening

Be careful – probably best to talk to the OB, much as I hate to say that. Think of all the other people they’ll try this on with – it’s bang out of order I reckon. I’m a traveller too but I don’t go round ripping people off all over the place!

I work with a lot of travellers and have never personally had a problem – I am sad that they have let them selves downI have spoken to trading standards and made enquireys which reinforced what we have is legally binding, but didnt want to make a complain just yet as quite honestly too scared!

they came and tried it on some more and were pushing it so I told em I had spoken to trading standards and didnt want to go down the route of making a formal complaint and they shut up and accepted the origional quoted ammount !
and then asked us for a reccomendation! PAH!

I absolutely don’t think that there’s any harm in giving the police a bit of legitimate work to do and as far as I know,
in England,
if a bill isn’t paid,1) It needs to go to a magistrate before it can go to a debt collector.
2) The debt collector must have a licence to collect debts.
3) Trying to collect an unpaid debt without a court order or licence is quite a serious criminal offence.And I’ve always hated bullied and I always enjoy watching the police doing useful work instead of just annoying people.
