I was reading this article about designer universes the other day (Are we living in a designer universe? – Telegraph) – think Stephen Hawking’s latest book has something about this. It’s a cool, if slightly far-out theory, but ‘apparently’ we’re not really that far off from artificially creating black-holes (large hadron collider) which could be wormholes to other universes…multiverses which can be preconfigured by the creators/gods.

Maybe we’ll find out in 2012?

I love it – don’t understand a lot of it…but apparently the less you understand about quantum physics the closer you are to understanding it…like the reverse of understanding more and more about less and less until you know everything about nothing.

Something wild is gonna happen with that LHC…if they ever get it to work properly.

Hi Process , They are saying they are expecting a huge solar flare in the not too distant future . It would be like a huge EMP ( Electro Magnetic Pulse ) which damages any electrics not sheilded , which is my i have wrapped my computer in lead ……now just the rest of the power grid and we are laughing !!!!.

A scentific theory is called a theory because it’s peer reviewed over and over and the same outcome comes, it’s pretty much a fact but they can’t say 100%.

Probably being blond here but surly scientific fact, by definition, is more than a theory, it is a fact. If something can later be proven to be untrue it can never have been a fact in the first place, again by definition.
