interested to know what you all did….
I ended up going to a legal event for the first time in 10 years (last time was NYE 95/96!!) – flabbergast all nighter at the Silver Star…. was excellent though, good music, good people and one of the best nights I had since moving here
but what did everyone else get up to? Anyone here go to the East Anglia free party at all?
(please don’t mention rig names if you went to an unlicensed event but feel free to say roughly where it was or what the music was like!)

January 2, 2007 at 4:24 pm #1097091yer went to the north norfolk barn dance. was good night even if very muddy. also the parking left a lot to be desired. cars backed up down a one lane track. luckily i arrived late and left me car at the entrance

Not always the rigs fault but it’s fairly vital that there is access for emergency services.
I went to a pub/club that we were providing a soundsystem for and then off to two seperate house parties.

that parking needs to be sorted out better though as one day someone will have a nasty prang or the organisers will get trouble for blocking access roads to emergency services
sounded like it was a good rave though, especially as there wasn’t major trouble from cops…
January 2, 2007 at 6:07 pm #1097077I spent my NYE on a travellers site out in the sticks where a couple of our crew live, turned the back of a huge bedford removal truck into a club, listened to techno and got trollied. :bigsmile:
One of the best new years eves i’ve ever had.
We were going to link up with some peeps in Nottingham, good job we didn’t in the end as it got busted anyway.

Started off at the the local pub and stayed for the countdown but couldnt stand the music. Needed something decent I could jump around to.
Ended up leaving about 1 and went to a free party just outside the Brighton area.Nothing massive or anything but a good party. In a big warehouse with no trouble from the ob, nice people and good music. Made my night as it started out shit. Brilliant location for me as it only 10 minutes drive from the pub.

January 2, 2007 at 7:14 pm #1097084went up to cambridgeshire out in the sticks to my mates den; made out of a caravan, a portacabin and an upside down boat. had a wicked lickle rave with a few good mates i havent seen in ages and some quality mushrooms. was proper bo. had three decks, a full drumkit and a few guitars plus my visuals. loved it.

January 2, 2007 at 11:45 pm #1097087hey.:love: ..not been online for a bit …coz my computer got a stoopid virus ..but ok now …had a ace nye …went to headcharge in sheff …danced til dawn …then went down to the afterparty …really chuffed with myself as the club was wanting £20 a head for tickets at 4.00am…i had a chat with the bouncers (well a complain )an they let me thru…yey!!! girl power:bounce_fl …hehe so dance some more …til about 9.00.:crazy_diz ohh banged into my ex husband that was fun :weee: …we are mates kind of tho so ..caught a taxi to the train station with him an his new freinds…train ..home ..big massive 20 min walk up hill to my bed …but it twas a georgous sunny an fresh day so was nice ….climbed into my bliss an that was me ……so tastic nite i had…..my feet are still aching tho…haha………HAPPY NU YEAR…xxxx

was good warehouse but fairly near residential estate. there was a fair bit of beef from the locals from what I gather as they were angry cops couldn’t stop it… anything that looked like a rig van/raver car was being attacked, a few wing mirrors busted and panels kicked in…

know something pisses me off that …they complain an stuff then go damage people vans an cars ..i once saw a windscreen that had been put thru by some angry passerbyer ..one morning …bang out of order ..not nice peeps like us …..
