March 30, 2005 at 8:20 am #1062087Hello Roly.
I don’t know what it is that keeps on dragging me back – it’s not the women, it’s not the drugs and the best parties are all out of town.
Maybe we should have a curse exchange – You get sucked into Reading, and I’ll get trapped in Essex & see how that turns out…
peace

May 9, 2005 at 10:02 pm #1061949AnonymousHi guys,
I’m posting from Ireland where I plan to hold the mother of all feel-good nights in June….. I’m looking to chat with likeminded lunatics to help me plan a w’ender which will be called the BURNING SEAMUS…. obviously a stolen name but one that catches the eye…It’ll be an arty, warped, tastefull adventure into the dark realms of the west of ireland. All music tastes (within reason!) from techno to metal :head_bang :head_bang :bounce_g: :bounce_g: from ska to D&B….. burn seamus burn!
So come on guys….whaddiya think??DJ Darro

June 27, 2005 at 8:58 pm #1062020Welcome to all our new people – its brilliant to read this poll and see that this is a truly international site…
Good to see people from Asia posting as well… I’d like to see a few more people from SE Asia [although I appreciate that your use of the net may not be as free as elsewhere in the world…] but if you ever get the chance to find a safe way of posting here I’d like to hear from you…

Yup, I am from Asia – in Goa land…..

time zone I am in.Anyways would love to hear about party stories and experiences
of you people if ever you have been to any Goa parties. I had
my first experience – which started from 31 Dec 2004 – 5 pm onwards
until morning of 2nd Jan 2005. let me tell you it was awesome, and
since I am watiing for the coming new year to go Goa….June 28, 2005 at 12:42 pm #1062021chia wrote:Hi General LightingYup, I am from Asia – in Goa land…..

since I am watiing for the coming new year to go Goa….I wouldn’t mind going to India sometimes (my mothers side of the family have Indian ancestors) – or indeed one day doing a tour of Asia…
Incidentally as someone who is Asian (although born in the UK) I am really pleased with the way the party scene appears to have developed in Asia (although I haven’t checked it out yet!)
Originally I was quite critical of it, as I felt it was affluent people from the West using Asia as a playground in a neo-colonial fashion, and increasing some problems such as hard drug use, corruption and even prostitution – but more recently I am seeing clear signs that those who are involved in both east and West are working together to make raving a positive contribution to local people in the Asian nations as well as fun for the tourists…
