My g/f lost her phone at shambala 2yrs ago. The guy who found it had sent messages to all her most recent dialled no’s (inc her dad!) asking to swap it for a spliff. All of our phones had run out of battery tho so we only got the messages when we got home, Fair play to the guy tho he did send it to her in the post when we got back, and we sent him a nice phatty in return!She also lost her wallet at this free party, nxt day on the forum there was a message asking if anyone knew her cause the organisers had found it, got the wallet back, money, everything – cant belive how lucky she is…Also my mate passed out when walking back to his house after a night out, but left his laptop on someones step. Next day someone spots it and gives it back to him. Luckily ive never really lost anything, but i better get it back if i do!

The Cancel button fell off the next day though!

August 29, 2007 at 11:52 am #1118841At the end of the 3day christmas party everyone was knackered n wantin to get home to bed, met at the car n my mate who was drivin realised hed lost his keys! thank fuck after an hour or so of searchin all over the site (which was pretty big it was that lab wit loadsa rooms n shit…) sumone handed em in to the DJ, we were so relieved, especially as everyone was startin to think we were stuck there!

Went to Alton Towers with a load of mates. as we were leaving in the monorail thingy i handed my mate my car keys. got to the car and he’d lost em.:weee: well after a great day out, and quite tiring too, all i was looking forward to doing was getting in my car, drive the 4odd hours home and basically chill out. So rather annoyed I walk all the way back into the park, get on the monorail ting again and ask the drivers if any keys been handed in. NO, ar shit, well try the main reception thing he sez. ok last hope then, que up ages to get there, got there and No. sorry no keys here mate. bollocks. right were fucked then.miles from home no green and imaging the tow home:cry: .
to rub salt in the matter on trying to leave the park to get back to my locked car we have to que up even longer to get on the damn monorail….then i get a call from matey in carpark.. hang on he sez i think iv got them,,, yup there here..SHITHOT i shouted very loudly. got a few funny looks but i was dead chuffed.:groucho:
