not sure ive heard the first one?
the first one that came into my head was the jungle bird sample that was used in loads of oldskool/dnb/jungle tunes…

the first one that came to mind was the martin luther king speech… i have seen the promised land… keep hope alive… and all that.

i think it (or bits of it), have been used alot, altho i might be mixing up different speeches, cos there is a couple of other speeches he did which are famous. :crazy:

I remember watchin a programme years ago that said that most hiphop tunes, at the time the programme was shown, used a drum sound off of Bowie’s ‘lets dance’ album.

dunno if it was the snare or the kick drum or wot…
