I find it strange there hasn’t been a thread about this already, with a lot of people here aged 16-19 and at college….
do none of you do A-levels then? is everyone doing those new course (NVQs etc) these days?
don’t worry about the grades, this isn’t the UCAS board and I fucked up my A levels anyway because I was stoned through most of 6th form ( got a D in maths, a U in chemistry and N(?) in physics), and I lasted all of 2 years in uni…

music techAugust 19, 2007 at 6:17 pm #1118473it took me a while to work out what on earth “resistant materials” was (had to google it in the end!) but its what was called “Craft Design and Technology” when I was in high school..
bah! I feel positively ancient now, not knowing what the “new fangled subjects” are. Thatcho was still in power when I did my A-levels!

August 21, 2007 at 7:24 pm #1118472Anonymoustwo U’s and an E.
Which is fair enough, i was off with glandular fever & complications because of that for over half the year.Moving colleges to start my NVQ now though, which is so much better. Less workload = less hassle, and I can still go to uni.
