the car I have now is my first with cd player, (and I treated myself to some very nice speakers too :love: )

– but I do miss my old tapes that I used to drive to which were so worn out they seemed to spin and slur and then I’d spend ages with a pencil trying to get all the stuff back on the spools……

I put a cd player in my old landrover but cos the suspension is so hard it kept jumping and i had to go back to tapes.I know loads of people who recorded over tapes from back in the day and now they are gutted,i kept all of mine and still love em.Im not really a fan of cd i love my records and i think cds sound very lifeless and sterile compared vinyl.
