@daftfader you need to pay for bandwidth but only really need copyright licensing if you are playing tracks from major labels (most indies still accept that pirate or online airplay is free publicity)

why not get in touch with Biotech about doing shows on here?

yeah we where gonna play many diferant genrers underground and some not main stream but .. borderline stuff like big lable d+b tunes and stuff .. and as it was originaly going to be in another companys name as we where gonna host it for a mmo game we had to do it by the books just incase …

as for talking to bt .. i will have to do that .. my equip is a bit mashed atm .. need a new crossfader and maby a new head unit or some needles .. and tighten up one of my tone arms .. ect. ..but should be fine … i’ll have to contact him when i get it all tweaked up nicely :bounce_fl

yeah we tryed to see if we could get on fm… they where absolute cocks about it all … it was like we phoned them up and told them we was gonna rape there familys by the way they reacted when we asked ..they told us that there was no room on the fm dial/am or the other one …. any where in the contry …nor was there going to be ever … they basicaly told us to give up … they said aload of other shit as well but i can’t remeber what it was ..but it was very negative w/e it was made us feel like right mugs :cry::you_crazy

haha yea there is loads of snow on the radio waves here, just finished listening to your mix btw i am kinda gutted it has finished was just getting into it.

yeah i should of carred on with the jungle realy … but was tring to get all the mixes about 1 hr long so we could fit them all in neatly .. normaly i go off on a tangent untill i run out of beer and have to go to the shop or run out of hd space :laugh_at:

the real issue is that the BBC for some reason still have the entire lower end of the FM band virtually to themselves and won’t release any of it for potential competitors :crazy_diz this may also be because it means the government have complete control over what is transmitted in this part

the FM band allocation in this country is based on 30-50 year old philosophies.

It was bad enough the emergency services took a large bite out of it (against international agreements) for many years (they only released this bit in the 1990s!).

Ofcom give various technical reasons about “risk of interference to aviation” and yep planes are just above FM band but foreign countries have many more community stations and they don’t have planes falling out the sky everywhere..
