this was origanly destined for an internet radio station me and my m8 where gonna set up but we couldn’t get lisencing soughted out as we were both skint after buying new decks for the radio and had to give the idea up after a bit of digging into how much it would actualy cost .. so i got a shit load of filler mixes i did ling around doing nothing lol:crazy_diz

yeah you have to get lisencing .. and it can be quite expensive .. it all depends on how many listerners you have iirc … the more you have the more expensive it is ..so the more cash you need to raise to pay the lisence .. we had a load of advertiment soughted out as we where gonna host the radio for a mmo computor game i used to play .. but they pulled out at the last minit so we had to try and pay our selves .. but couldn’t afford it at the time so had to put it off and the idea slowly faided away ya know 😥

you can do it for nothing but it wouldn’t be legal ..and i think it’s realy easy for you to get caught for it so no point….

Well i think that is such aload of bollocks, even when you try keep yourself busy and out of trouble they make it cost too much money so you can’t.

i think so they give grants for alsorts, just pitch it as a community project i guess i’m sure you can get enough of your mates together to pitch it that way.heres the website http://www.princes-trust.org.uk/

cool nice one … i’m not sure if they will buy it as a comunity thing tho as it’s on the www and all local radio bands fm/am ect are all taken up for ever acording to offcom ..lol

@daftfader you need to pay for bandwidth but only really need copyright licensing if you are playing tracks from major labels (most indies still accept that pirate or online airplay is free publicity)

why not get in touch with Biotech about doing shows on here?
