that was patch 1.08 or 1.09 and that bow fucking ruled. now it’s all about faith runeword.

1.09.. I never made it till 1.10! I never saw ladder or the faith runeword.. did you ever play hardcore? I did that for the first year, that was a real bitch, lost too many chracters to PKers

yep eaglehorn was my first big item, traded it for a schaefers hammer and made a paladin, the traded up to a grandfather and had a barbarian, then traded up to a windforce
Then one day arcanes valour dropped.. that was a happy day.. traded it for some 160% damage /60% increased attack speed armour (probably duped), the cows just melted away. Then my account was deleted in a big purge. Possibly for ownership of a blatently duped item. Possibly for running a pindle bot 😛
in my defense i didnt start using a magic find bot until I’d got thoroughly bored of the game and wanted to feel totally rich before I packed it in.

was gonna mention valor, that was like the ultimate item at one point!!
you actually picked it up, epic.
never even seen a high rune drop!
when 1.10 hit enigma came and everyone could teleport, Jah ith ber in 3 sok armor. fucking epic item.
then in 1.11 or 1.12 they had the ubers, so fucking epic. there’s uber diablo as well.
you get unique small charm and unique large charm with some crazy stats on them for doing ubers.

sounds like I missed out.. was tempted to start agian for ladder but couldnt be arsed in the end. Now I’m waiting on diablo 3 😀
