Unfortunately even on a friendly site like this you don’t know anyone that well unless you have actually met them and even seemingly friendly people could be passing on info to unfriendly elements.

its not movie-style scenarios of “deep cover” operations, but normal ordinary people who don’t agree with raves who feel they are genuinely “doing their bit to protect the neighbourhood”

think about what happened to that canoe man (the prison officer who faked his own death). Whilst the cops were watching him, it was a member of the public taking individual action after a tabloid report that put the final piece in the jigsaw so he could be nicked…
