The rave was Voodoo in Brighton (1992).

I once told someone the vocal line and he said it might be Black Dog – “Vir-2-L”, which was released in 1990 and 1992. I can only find the record on vinyl and l no longer have turntables 🙁

Do any of the older ravers in ere know the tune?

The tune reminds me of Bank Holidays in May in Brighton – how topical, we’ve got one coming up! 😛 and the rave was actually held in May (the first Bank Holiday l think) in Brighton, weeeird.

p.s. I think the DJ was Luke Slater.
