I quite like the vampires actually ‘living’ within the community – quite a novel take – unlike buffy / angel
Dont really know HBO as I think that sky? and dont have that – what other stuff they done then?
-is ‘carnival’ one of theirs ? as I loved that too – friend lent me the box sets and I did my usual – staying up all night to watch 😉

I think I’m going with cliffy on this one! you need the holy trinity – sex, violence, and likely to offend for a good show 😉

HBO did the The Sopranos, Sex and the City, Lost (at a guess). Stuff like that really. I would imagine they did Carnival but I don’t really know much about HBO its just what I associate with these things really. Carnival was wicked, got drunk and watched series one over night, messy. Really good though sadly I don’t remember much of it.

sounds similar to what I did 😉
never really got into the soprano’s – my friend lent me the box sets 1 – 3 or 4 but I didnt have time – and if its summat I really wanna watch I make time – and sex in the city series…. not really my kind of thing, after my op my sister gave me a ‘care package’ which contained a tuna bagette, angel delight, milk, sweets and a few DVD’s – sex and the city film was one – I watched it and it was ok – but I’m thinking its coz I was still fucked by the sedation :laugh_at:

I tried watching the first episode of the Soprano’s but fell asleep before it finished. I find these type things can be good but a bit too slick, the production values are a little high for me, the cast a bit too good looking etc.

I agree with you about lost, so very very very dull and long winded. Lost always gave the impression they were just making it up as they went along.
