I think it’s just the routines we fall into, workdays are all so similar they blur into each other, even nights out on the town all start to feel the same with repetition, new experiences help mark time and distinguish one day or week or month from another, so the fewer new experiences you have the more time seems to pass unnoticed and fly by.
