Run your thumb lightly over your eyelashes in a sideways motion. Usually works to remove the offending object! 😉

DONT touch it. it will make it worse. just leave it. the eye is very good for overcoming these things.

Poke It whilst mumbling unjustified abuse about Its mother, until It leaves.

Failing this, pretend to have something bigger stuck in your other eye, this should make the object feel threatened enough to leave to find a quieter habitat.
