Just read my uni email and received final confirmation from the exam board that
I passed my course with a merit :bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl:bounce_fl

(and so did my house mate!!!)

Cheers!!

It means I get to keep my job (it was given on condition I passed the course – so that was an additional pressure!)

but I also go up a ‘grade’ so more money!!

but no more studying …..for the time being atleast!!

met the most amazing individual at a quarry party last night.. sat on a hill and sniffed ungodly amounts of horse whilst having the most intimate and personal conversation.. and the best bit is SHE only lives 20 mins away from me which was a massive coincidence as the party was buckinghamshire and im from brighton. and yes i said SHE. i think she could turn me straight.. im disgusted in myself. but very very happy

managed to get all my sound kit working properly and am learning to mix again…

also this year after the earthquake I decided to make peace with the Japanese on behalf of my family (TBH most of SE Asia did!) – though I think I’ve bought enough electronic kit recently to help rebuild a small village :laugh_at:

The Chinese sent over these really smart packs which contained blankets, bedding and other useful stuff, and the packaging it comes in also turns into a tent/shelter (like Transformers style)..

some of the dudes I buy kit from in CN made a earthquake proof telephone exchange the size of a shoebox which can handle 100+ extensions and also link to two way radios as well as phones can run off small batteries so when there is earthquake they just give the area loads of them so the Council and Emergency Services can get the comms link back up..

She said that I passed BUT while I used good grammar and good choice of words, I have really really bad pronunciation. Very strong kiwi accent instead of a swedish one.

fair play… I was out of pure curiosity listening to the original “Boten Anna” and what I (and probably most English speakers) find is that the grammar is not that difficult, or even the addition of random letters like ö but they put letters in the words and don’t pronounce them – its certainly harder than Dutch or German to pronounce..
