Mind you I can still remember when virtually every VW badge in the Thames Valley area went “missing” around 1987 :laugh_at::laugh_at:
I’m glad to see them still popular, plus they make me look youthful :laugh_at:
April 18, 2007 at 12:04 pm #1103172You can’t beat a bit of Beastie Boy’s, some of me mates have had differing opinions but i love to listen to them!

April 18, 2007 at 2:26 pm #1103170Some peeps are moaning and groaning that they’re headlining so many festies this (European) summer, all I can say is “YES PUHLEEZ” cos I’m gonna see ’em at Sonar, which is to say….KICK IT!

April 18, 2007 at 2:40 pm #1103173i wish them the best of luck, it seems their one of the only surviving groups who havent sold out to some kind of toothpaste ad etc … good on them

‘Scratch’ ROCKS, great doccie, jampacked with good stuff. DJ Shadow is the king. The Beasties are showing their doccie ‘Awesome! I fuckin’ shot that!’ at Sonar (and, I presume, a buncha other places in EU this summer) – apparently they gave a shitload of vidcams out at a NYC gig and edited all the material down. That’s gonna be a must-see.
May 7, 2007 at 3:34 pm #1103167Great links.
True legends.
I like the fact that they are not proud of their first album which is the closest they got to selling out (even if it is still one of my favourites).
By the way, I don’t know if any of you knew this already, but apparently Ad Roc is a scorpio!!
