Hello….

im writing researching how music, especially through mp3 players, affect percieved reality. I’m looking to interview DJs. I know DJs but to the disgrace of the state of the DJ (or maybe just to my disgrace) I know only young male DJs.

If you are a FEMALE, or you are either male or female but 30+, you have an mp3 player that you use somewhat regularly, you live in London, and you’ve played parties I want to get you drunk! well, no, no i don’t, but I do want to talk to you for 1 hour, i won’t be painful i promise, and I’ll buy you a drink or two for your time.

please do help me out. It would be MUCH appreciated. If I can bribe you in any other way do let me know I’ll do what I can

um…right. i am finishing my degree in sociology this year. about me? what do i say? im hedonistic, pessimistic and i like to dance. no. i dont know. i used to be a little raver back in the day in LA (candy and happy hardcore and all). way back in the day, at this point. Now in London the squat scene is very different but cool in its own right. there nothing like a party in the desert, though….tripping your face off with good music (ya not just happy hardcore) and watching the sunrise over the desert….you get why all these fuckers think they’re having ‘religious experiences’ on acid. well anyways, its fun. i like techno, hardcore, psybreaks, all breaks actually, nina simone, and i miss american jungle. i eat lots of mushrooms to help me see how contrived our reality is. so i like to study how people make their own realities..so there you go. willing to help me now?

well most ppl are governed by their minds the minds have controlll an incessant talking jabbering waffling critisising..whatever voice it doesnt shut up.
it takes imagination to see beyond this voice to perceive the mind in all its glory and not identify yourself with it, to go deep within the body and feel your presence in the now is what i would call reality.:idea:

take focus of your attention away from thinking and direct it into the body. u will feel a invisible energy.
its formless limitless and unfathomable.
u can go deeper each time i get lots of tinglings in my hands.i know im alive.realitys true nature,is un wordable,mind cannot comprehend.

I’m slack on all things meditation unfortunately even if I’m quite interested in the idea of it (especially Vipassana)…
