Wait I have done it wrong. there 4×12 makes no sense. It’s 4×10 so it’s £10 difference.
February 15, 2013 at 10:48 am #1267046I didn’t do the math sorry, not my strong point I’m afraid. vBulletin’s paid subscription system is generally really poor which doesn’t help but that’s no excuse so I will fix this. 10 pounds for 3 months is fucking cheap though. How much does the average person spend at the weekend? Be honest!

I’ve gone down this route to mate. I think im getting TMJ aswell i been getting pains in my jaw that are almost like an earache and my jaw is just generally fucked. Feelsbadman

I had planned to subscribe but most people I know no longer post much. Seems like only a handful of people post and many of those who do are so much younger than me I don’t have much in common. Plus its the same old topics and questions; I can see why some boards tell people to search before they ask (if we get one more “what do you think about the legalisation of drugs” thread I will scream). That said if I am still on here much when I find some work I will subscribe and have subscribed in the past.
Its a shame PV always seemed like home but I don’t really feel like I have much to contribute any more.

That’s just the way forums work i’m afraid. I have found this time of year is always quiet on PV. Once spring kicks of and people start going out more there is normally allot more interesting threads and streams etc.

I agree some questions do come up over again but their discussions and answers change over the years. For instance we’ve had two minor attempts at tolerance in the UK since 2000, firstly cannabis going briefly back to Class C then the cathinones escaping control for a good few years and becoming really popular on here from 2008 until the clampdown in 2010/11.
There are also less EDM events than before in some areas especially the South so the scene is increasingly revolving around shared online music and social experiences, after all if you don’t turn up the sound so loud you get ASBO’d the feds can’t stop you listening to music at home either alone or in small groups even if you have a few “sweets” along with it…
Also with regard to sound and AV equipment there have been massive technological developments over the years which warrant discussion, for instance 6 years ago DJ’s using digital equipment was less common now many use it exclusively..

yup I am not saying I think it should be different or telling Dr B how to run things at all. I just mean for me I don’t want to be chatting to people not that far off being young enough to be my daughter about drugs. I don’t go to free party’s any more and shouldn’t be taking drugs really (I have damaged kidneys and high blood pressure from an OD). I joined in 2006 so have seen lots of changes over the years.
I would like to say that there are some great people on here who have put up with a lot of crap from me (used to be a depressed alcoholic so angry and mean a lot of the time) and without PV I don’t believe I would be as mentally well as I am. Having people to talk to through the darkest times was really great. You guys are awesome much love.
PS I am not going anywhere by the way just wont be on as much.

Well the subs have decreased badly this year. I doubt DB would chuck 15 years down the drain without a fight. It would be great if we could organise a fund raiser for it but none of us have the resources at the moment.

But loggy, we do have the resources mate. Most of the people on here are DJ’s, producers, MC’s, sound technicians, lighting technicians and such. If only nightclub really had a fucking club we could do this tomorrow! We can make it happen man – and by doing a fundraiser, it’d raise the profile of PV even further and hopefully get more folk to subscribe. Win-win situation as far as I can see buddy!

I’m not sure what kind of fund raiser you are talking about ( a party…cake sale? )
