It annoys me when people like that Hamza dude come live here on benefits then complain about are way of life.
Thing is though he’s a minority.

People who sit at home on the dole complaining that they just come and take all are jobs are full of shit.
If you really want a job you’ll get one.

I’m British Asian, (born in London to parents who migrated from Malaysia) and proud of it – at its best immigration has contributed a lot to this country, particularly in business and technology.

That said, I don’t think those so-called “right on” campaigners have done themselves any favour by defacing a legitimate political parties poster (and I am no fan of the Tories).

There are limits on immigration anyway, and fairly ludicrous ones what seem to change randomly. For instance decent hard working people from countries like the Phillipines find it immensely hard to get work permits, even those from “friendly” countries but who don’t just kowtow to London (such as Malaysia or Thailand) find it hard.

However, for 20 years dysfunctional “students” from other Middle Eastern/Asian countries have been allowed in over the last 16-20 years to get involved firstly in crime (particularly heroin dealing, fraud, muggings and theft of high value motor cars) and then terrorism… That happened because they have or had rich daddies what buy or bought our weapons and overpriced big brother IT systems for their countries. (This is where all these Islamic radicals have arrived from)

And then decent people from Eastern countries get hassle in the streets because of the scum :hopeless:

Also immigrants are being used as pawns in the game between companies and the government to drive down salaries; whilst there also remains a lot of local (i.e British) lazy “dole scroungers” who resent new entrants simply because they are being shown up…

Like GE says there are already limits and they are tuffening them up on non EU nationals already, so I dont think there’s much more they can do there. Im not sure exactly how much of our migration is with europe, but they cant do anything about that other than leave the EU, and I dont think they are going to do that. So saying they ‘are going to impose limits’ is just complete rubbish.

It looks like there just trying to play a populist card (which all to often happens in bad economic times) instead of dealing with the real issues, one of which is that their whole ideology for the last 30 years has now been shown to be a complete failure.

So no, we are definately not thinking what your thinking! :laugh_at::laugh_at:

Thats a trip. Are you thinking what we’re thinking? So if i’m thinking what your thinking and you are thinking what i’m thinking, what if the man next to me is thinking what we’re thinking and we’re thinking what he’s thinking then the three of us are thinking, oh no i’ve gone cross eyed. :yakk::crazy::you_crazy

I wouldnt say it was any harder for people from Malaysia, Thailand or the Phillipines to get work permits than for people from other parts of the world they’ve just got to meet the minimum work permit requirments same as everyone else. But yeah if you’ve got enough money to pay the stupidly high student fees and the costs of getting a student visa its pretty easy to get into the uk that way.

ive got no problems with people coming into the uk, but at the same time its not racist to want to control the amount somehow.

Its more the lack of clarity of the rules, delays in processing applications despite paying substantial fees, seemingly arbitrary changes and visas not getting renewed despite people having months of unblemished employment records.

For instance there is talk of a planned limit being placed on people from the Phillipines which would be a great hassle to healthcare companies, when there is absolutely no evidence I can find of people from the Phillipines causing any trouble in this country (unlike Triad gangsters, islamic terrorists or Vietnamese drug growers!)

Looking at it from the other side, I work for a healthcare company not too far away from where we used to live. We supply carers and residential home spaces for the ageing population of that area.

All our jobs are advertised across Ipswich and Mid Suffolk to a wide community.

Whilst we do have a lot of hard working White British staff there simply aren’t enough to go round for the amount of old folks here (East Anglia’s lack of opportunities for younger also adds to this) so we need to recruit from the East European and SE Asian communities. And it is often the case that they are more willing to “go the extra mile” when it comes to stuff like weekend working and doing longer hours.

Also, the first wave of so-called “Islamic radicals” (who TBH were mostly just angry criminal minded youths) got into this country on student visas paid for by rich parents in the late 80s/early 90s when the Tories and Thatcho was in power. A lot of moderate British Asian Muslims even tipped off Scotland Yard about this issue but were ignored…

an immigrant has fucked up my day before – but that was because he was a cunt, not ‘cos he was an immigrant 😉

as for the poster, i cant decide if it’s meant with a slight bit of sattire, i.e. calling them racist on it. i do think it’s funny though, although i’d have scrawled HURRY UP AND DIE MAGGIE in brackets underneath, ‘cos i wanna fucking party.
