a mate of mine who had a bit more brain (hadn’t been killed off by xylene fumes) would use a quickly disposable piece of wood for this purpose.

Also as Tek Offensive pointed out in less populated areas (or even suburbs just outside London) graf can stick out like a sore thumb… and middle england types are quick to call the feds (and olds have cameraphones as well these days..)
in some boroughs there is a anonymous text thing where any pics of graf can be sent to the councils.
I think the writers are gonna have to run even faster these days – some of the train companies just spent loads on new branding (and TBH that silver colour on national express does looks like a nice background for a piece)
there is a big clampdown though round here as I’m always seeing BTP around my estate and its a fair distance away from trackside, what they are doing is photographing any pieces they see and matching the styles up with stuff on trains.
Incidentally I worked at Defra a few years ago (in a different department) read the clampdown in one of our staff magazines and there was definitely at least one former writer who was advising the feds and councils on what to look out for and how to match up techniques/styles etc..

most people who slip on something like a railway track are going to reach out with their hands to try and rebalance themselves – there is a very good chance they may touch the live rail with one hand and one of the earthed rails with the other, plus DC causes muscle contractions which can make the victim lock on to the live conductor (also causing secondary injury via burns)
I think one of the writers in Barking was killed this way a few years back..

yeah with certain voltages ..for them to be used … the ampage will be leathel/v dangerose due to the resistance needed for them to be used in the way needed …. and yeah dc if nasty stuff if you touch it … there was some dude who jumped over the fence of a rail way line some where within news paper coverage distance from me …. i think he was running from the police for some reason .. graf is a posibility … he landed on the over head wires tho .. they are in the 100’s of thou volts (i should know it exactly as i used to work on the railways .. but have forgoten it as i was only in my training when i left) but they are AC … he got projected off of them on contact … and survived .. :weee:
