now i use both (partyvibe a lot more though) but this is bollocks.

1. PV, over-moderated? do we have many posts moderated? i wouldn’t have thought so, the only time i’ve seen posts really moderated (other than moved to correct forum) is when they include too much rig/party info, in which case, SJ does this also

2. forced politeness? nah, i’m pretty sure i could be an abusive prick on here and not get forced to be nice, i just dont want to, ‘cos it doesn’t appeal to me at all

3. no life in it? well, ok, it doesn’t move as fast as SJ, as in people dont post every second. but when you have a job and a social life, that doesnt bother me, ‘cos when i come back, theres more interestin stuff to read than a loada drivel

4. we have a stickied thread on someone comin off heroin don’t we? better than gloatin and takin the piss about someone startin it

5. i’ve found out about parties and stuff (not many i have been able to go to) here because SJ is riddled with pointless paranoia. yes the police are monitoring, but that doesnt mean everyone is a pig and out to bust ya

SJ is a laugh and occasionally decent convo. PV doesn’t move as quick, but you are guarenteed always better threads, more often than not.

as for the ketamine thing i posted above, fair enough it was an exaggerated, but thats ‘cos i got a bit sour with ket, thing it turns a lotta people into idiots (when they abuse it) so i may have been a bit forward…

its odd cos a lot more people use both sites then admit it… and that goes both ways, i mean, us at PV, we are a bit unacceptin of SJ a bit too much, and so are SJ of us… but its petty rivalry and can be quite funny

i think rivalry is quite good, ‘cos its harmless innit, we both jibe each other

i wonder if some clever geeza could create a perfect balance between PV and SJ, like faster movin PV with the banter of SJ without the rancid images and drivel…

i’ve seen a lot of people seemingly taking a u-turn on their own opinions, just ‘coz the more popular members tell them to fuck off. most users seem to take on a more cynical attitude, just to fit in.

sure, most of these users are probably young or a bit daft, but still…

there are posts, threads and chatrooms convos about peoples problems with the sh*t on here. i just think the split between sj and p.v is the menallity and personality, by that i mean some people are generally boobs with nothing really to say, others do have just dont mind being around a bad bunch. At school where you the clever kid that hung round with the set 5 knob eds? i was. on here people are generally more relaxed, can hold a conversation that doesnt spill into a contest of who can say the lowest offensive words around and i like that. p.v suits my personality. i cant even pop onto sj because it just annoys me, maybe i just havent given it enough of a chance.

i’m trying hard not to generalise, a few teenagers on sj are fairly bright. a lot of them are fuck heads.

i’m sure there’s a different breed of teenager around here though…:wink:
