a lotta them seem pissed off ‘cos their experiences haven’t gone rite and are now quite bitter about the scene itself or younger generations

but a lot of it is just harmless banter and there are a few safe as people on there

It was originally just harmless banter years ago. Too many people get the wrong idea though and the ironic jokes seem like real opinions. To be in “the gang” everyone tries to be bicthy and offensive to get a laugh but the irony is lost on them.

Then you get real nasty arseholes who seem to have been attracted there over the last couple of years. Mix in some real mental health issues, fights that spill over in to real life and then some washed up drug buckets and you have SJ.

There are actually a load of people on there who are safe as houses.

there are loads of situations where if you put people on an equal footing, the most negative prevent the rest from coming forward and being themselves

SJ is one of those

quite a few of them are annoyingly conservative as well, and many are racist. tis one of the things i’d have thought the rave scene was not about :you_crazy

I think drugs is one of the problems on SJ..

Many people there use drugs daily (or so they say)

Drugs can really screw your brain up :hopeless:

ketamine seems to be the most popular drug on SJ, by a fair way… n loads of ’em go on about bein quite addicted to it

in my experience people who use ketamine regulary have worse paranoia than those who smoke weed, paranoia could lead to a fair amount of hostility

Most people on PV (and in our society) probably use drugs everyday, too… i certainly do!:love:

Ketamine didn’t exist then,was mostly weed,speed and cocaine,but I never did that when I was at work..

But I will say that if people don’t like it on SJ,they have the option of staying the hell away,nobody forces anybody to be there..

I think I read more threads on PV about how bad and terrible they are on SJ,than I read threads on SJ about how bad and terrible they think PV are :groucho:

I sometimes browse through SJ, it makes me smile reading how they just abuse each other. I dont think i have posted on there as i have had nothing to contribute and cant be arsed to join in with the banter.

When i have been at parties i have met up with a few people who post on SJ and they are (as far as our generation go) kind of normal, its easy to abuse and banter people over the internet. It is different when they are stood there in front of you.

But as Angel says, if you dont like the place don’t go there. Or just read through the posts and laugh at all the Ketamongs that dont actually make much sense.
