I think people sometimes see honesty (damn its hard to explain in english)as a form of me being selvfish, one minded, think i’m better than them, saying the thing they wish they had the gutt to say..Think people see that as agressive behavior..

[lets all pretend we like each other but bitch behind everyones back about everyone else?]
couldnt be doing with that; mind you dont go out of my way to be honest with random strangers; just the people who ask my opinion :crazy_fre

[the point is you are worrying what other people think and, if they dont know you inside you, how do they have the right to an opinion? they probably know about 5-15 % of who you really are and the rest is hidden; that is no safe basis on which to make an opinion] [we all hide behind masks and, when we dont, people project their least liked things about themselves onto us to make themselves feel more comfortable :toxic:]

Interestingly I was told by a mate with whom I had a similar discussion it can be seen as agressive behaviour to some…I would have to agree since I know some have interpreted me in that way…but they can just **** off 😉
I’d still maintain honesty is the best policy, however soemtimes its just not worth the hassle……either let it go or let it out
