well trance has a certain bpm and structure, i think psytrance is just a more known genre and would be a better marketing label.

simons hallucinogen stuff is psytrance/goa trance.

Im yanking your crank , I saw that Raja Ram refered to his Sphongle work as Psybient.

I hate the whole subgenre bidness it muddies and creats eliteisum over fuck all. Call it what you like so long as its good !

but then people will start calling dubstep psytrance cos they think dubstep is good, you’d be well pissed off turning up at a psy party which was dubstep!!

i’d also be a bit pissed if i went to a so called psytrance party and they were playing psychill! i love psychill but it’s not really pumping for a proper banging party is it.
