Considering getting some, who else on here rocks a pair?
October 22, 2010 at 7:20 pm #1230291AnonymousHi 1984 ,
No not at the moment but thinking of getting myself some , theres new carpet in the lounge and the landlady makes me take my black socks off in case they stain the carpet . She’d have me hovering if she could , but the rocket pack needed to lift me would scorch the carpet !!!! .Regards
Mungo
ps you gonna get some outrageous ones or just the bulk standard ones ?October 22, 2010 at 7:23 pm #1230298I hate wearing shoes inside – just feels weird – and nothing to do with having nice carpet or anything
I have a pair of soft leather slip on things from morocco which rock –
but they smell of camels!! eek!
and then I have 2 pairs of slipper socks (xmas ones too ) which I like
but i dont have any propper slippers –
are you gonna get a cravat and pipe too? I think you should go for the whole look

I might have too, realised the other day I was wearing all corduroy (got a nice jacket from a charity shop) and P0lys misses said I looked like a grandad at Shambala lol
Mighty get those fluffy animal ones for special occasions. But in all seriousness I get cold feet so I am going to have to get some. Not a fan of shoes on indoors either.

Yup the dreads are gone, I look all normal now. Need to go get some more tattoos lol
I have always dreamed of finding a nice jacket with elbow patches in a charity shop. That and a tweed suite but I dout I will ever be able to afford it.
October 22, 2010 at 7:38 pm #1230292AnonymousHi 1984 ,
You need to get yourself over to Lincolnshire , the local gentry still wear tweed suites . on the down side though they are still shooting the peasants ….im mean pheasants ……or was it peasants !!! . Its like going back in time here , just watching a witch get burnt !!!!!Regards
Mungo

what prompted the change?
I have (to me) normal hair – what with trying to be proffessional ………….
as I dont think I can ‘get away’ with how I looked in my last job – however apparently its not :laugh_at::laugh_at:
I was asked by a friend when I was gonna die it – and I had!
its one of those ‘swartskoft live ones’ so quite red still – ho hum!!and – I guess ‘normal’ is our own interpretation – 😉

didnt really want to be associated with drugs anymore and that kind of stuff. And working up to getting a job so want to look professional. And dreadlocks that long are very unpractical. Plus I had had them for 7 odd years or so so was just time for a change.
