I’ve sometimes thought if I wanted to get rich quick I should come up with some sort of hifi mod, something along the lines of this bag of magic pebbles that improves all aspects of your system’s sound, or this pen that makes CDs sound better when you draw on them with it, or these ‘cable elevators’ that reduce the inductive reactance caused by having your speaker cables touching the floor (they look suspiciously like someone’s found a job lot of the kind of high-voltage insulators used on overhead power lines and cleaned them up).
