Surely if partyvibe is to be considered a collective, then the decision making process should be a collective one.
As a subscriber here, I would like to see a system put in place that ensures that any mods/users to be sacked/banned are done so after consultation and consideration with all other members of the “partyvibe collective”.
Otherwise, it’s open to administrative abuse and forum fascism.

After this latest incident I asked several (but not all) of our staff for their opinion on the subject and finally told USE one last time it wasn’t acceptable behaviour and asked him to convince me it wouldn’t happen again which he couldn’t forcing me to act. None the less I’ll say I have a lot of respect for the man and I’m genuinely sorry it’s come to this. If I remember correctly he was originally promoted at a time when he was particularly unhappy in an effort to be supportive…

Some people may not agree with other peoples posts but everyone has a right to be here, so can the personal insults please stop.

It all sounds a bit playground to me, having to compair whos done what harder, longer, better etc
What happened to respect for others on the forum, I dont agree with bitching to others for their choice of threads – there is a sub section for dating/ sexuality as well as parties etc
I understand you may be annoyed with what has happend, hence the thread – but I personally dont agree with relinquishing responsibility for your comments due to depression / mental health deteriation – and I think everyone needs to accept responsibility for their actions IMHO.

This is just my point of view as a thick skinned SJer.
USE should know better than most the limits of this forum and should adhere to its policies and set an example to its users and therefore should just get over it.

Dead baby/people pictures, underage porn pictures, abused animal pictures, racism, online and real life stalking, posting of peoples personal details and pictures of members children is not a “bit of a laugh”. You cannot defend that surely?
If I came across people doing similar stuff at a party they would be booted out straight away.
I’ve said plenty of times that there are lots of sorted people on sj and it can be funny, which is why I still post and read. However, I can see why a lot of people don’t give it the time of day. Stuff like the above will not be tolerated here so maybe that’s some prefer it.

Although I can’t envisage the PV mods being wankers about their position, as they are all safe as, but still, democracy isn’t a bad idea… but not a vote, because that is too unreliable. But asking people’s opinions ain’t a bad idea.

Should it matter what ppl say on here to a degree, if we the users say something out of line then the thread or post is taken down and thats it isnt it? If USE is going through alot of things then let him deal and if he lets of some steam in here then its down to here, i know if some of those things happened to me then id kick off abit too, hope it all gets sorted soon :bounce_fl
