well i spose he’s got to make a living..he blatantly has the skills but will work for anyone…thats my beef with graphics, you always end up advertising, which is just shit. the power of images is like any power..it comes with responsibility. if you want to make the funds, you forget this and end up brainwashing your freinds and people like them.

yep, the flash anim was ok, nothing special. seems that he is trying to conform to the market instead of adapting it to his needs. that is gonna piss him off. advertising is a subhuman industry anyway, he’s better off out of it unless he has the strength to rebel. at least music is personally satisfying.

that newgrounds looks cool, but like a lot of similar places, a mission to trawl thru the crap to get to the goods. stuck it in fave’s for later perusal. nice one.

yep, bill hicks is the don. i was gonna go into graphics for ages, but it’s just so soul destroying, i have a few mates who are graphic designers, and the stories they can tell about sabotage and bitching is unbeleivable. glad you realised i wasn’t having a pop at the bloke, just the industry. it doesn’t support creativity, only cultural referencing and repetition. i started out as a graphic designer, but was put off when i realised what career path i was heading down. anyway, i’ll get off my high horse now (as if, i’d have to be surgically removed 😉 )

i’m working on some animations for some of my mates tunes, inspired by that trouble anim. after effects is so nice and easy to use compared to flash, which was probably made by the devil as a torture instrument …
