There’s a little bit in that that reminds me of a couple of classic old skool tracks – namely Bombscare by 2 Bad Mice and Some Justice by Urban Shakedown, sweet dude.

What equip u use or is it all software? If so what vst’s/rtas’s?.
For some reason I’ve got a feeling you use cubase as a DAW … just a guess tho. It’s the verb you’re using .. sounds a bit like reverence. Really nice natural verb, especially for one that comes as standard with a DAW. Also the stereo image enhancer sounds like the one in cubase, at least to my ears.
August 1, 2013 at 6:04 pm #1275081I just use Cubase to master. I use mixing software like Audacity and free stuff from NCH soft. And I use fruityloops and add live samples to my mixes, like this one sometmes. I had to reinstall windows recently and lost all my good stuff, but ill grow a collection again.
August 1, 2013 at 6:06 pm #1275082But ive used Cubase 5 alot, its a favorite of mine.
August 1, 2013 at 6:06 pm #1275083That and FL 10

August 1, 2013 at 6:15 pm #1275084Thank you
August 1, 2013 at 6:17 pm #1275074Ye that stereo widening thing in cubase is amazing to chuck over the whole track when mastering …
I use cubase for pretty much everything, other then dithering, for that I use soundforge pro 10 as it’s got the best algorithm out there for it. It’s the izotopes algorithm iirc, used in a few high end products.
I used to have cubase 5, but actually went out and bought cubase 6.5 cos I use it all the time. Also it had this program called “Padshop” in it what is something I had been dreaming existed, but couldn’t find anything like it, then stineberg actually made it lol. Fuckers make you pay like £8 or £9 to upgrade it to the pro version though, and the pro feature of being able to use your own samples in it was the whole reason I wanted it! Cheeky buggers lol.
I used to use audacity a lot for recording my DJ mixes (really nice program, especially for freeware!).
How long you been making tunes for man?
August 1, 2013 at 6:27 pm #1275085Ive been producing for about 2 years now. First on my laptop, now on my big old gaming pc. I didnt even know there was a new Cubase lol go figure. I took a very long break from producing when my stuff got deleted, so im just not doing it again. Ill check out Soundforge Pro. If you want you can check out my hulkshare most my music is on there its Naustro – Music – Hulkshare I went from a more Minimal techno sound, but with heavy beats, to more of an IDM sound, experimental with some slow ambient and dark tracks, alot of experimental bass music really. I just consider myself Experimental since I don’t know what else to consider myself lol I tend to just stick with Freeware mostly though, so thats a burden.
