Probably stems from a lack of love for yourself. Love can be sought, you need some spiritual growth if this is the case.
Getting bullied as a child and attempting suicide numerous times’ll do that to you.

April 9, 2014 at 8:15 pm #1151143I hear that, but you’re still here which says something. I guess you have to take your own meaning from it and there is a choice between fear and love, people have recovered from far worse and live loving fulfilled lives.

August 11, 2014 at 1:33 am #1129412The lead free solder. You have to turn the soldering iron up to near 400 Celsius; which knackers the tip quicker (worse, the solder itself attacks it too). I bought one roll of it a few years back mistakenly thinking the 60/40 lead stuff was banned (it isn’t; but when I order it I get sent a 3 page safety warning with the parcel) -the only thing I will use it with is a industrial size butagas powered soldering iron for really heavy wires like power feeds from accus….
Unfortunately all new stuff (including things I have to repair) now uses it; As well as the mixer I had to repair this circuit board (the 4k7 resistor had a broken wire at one end so the relay it is supposed to control doesn’t turn on). fiddly enough as it is but took absolutely ages to melt and remove the old lead free solder from the through plated hole. I was worried I’d burn out the PCB track (thankfully I didn’t and I managed to get a new 4k7 resistor into the board). It would be a minor task were it not for this solder

February 4, 2015 at 4:48 pm #1129413got more reports of intermittently crashed PCs in one part of the office (this has been going on for months). suspected dodgy earth connections but dis board and feed from main board all OK. Today ended up having to instruct my colleagues to shut down their PC’s; warn the nurses I would be “working live” and opened up the 13A sockets. Although these are the nice Crabtree ones; All of them only have 1 x 2.5mm^2 earth cable when there should be 2 of 4mm^2 both going back to this dis board for this kind of area with lots of computers; especially when you’ve got the rest of the noise currrent from earth to deal with. Could mean an evening or two cable monkeying at odd hours (as this job definitely means off supply for that area…)

March 3, 2015 at 6:48 pm #1129415what kind of idiot dreams up terms like “collaboration endpoint” for a fucking IP telephone? especially one that takes about 3 tries to remotely upgrade firmware to sort out bugs that should never have been there in the first place. Its a telephone FFS – people pick up the handset; dial the number and talk to other people with it. Ok these ones have got pretty lights what show who else is on the phone and plug into the IP network instead of direct to the PABX central but otherwise there is nothing extra-special about them…
