Used to play it a lot, even played for PNE under 15s squad, possibly could have made it professionally but I discovered the games console and learnt that that was far easier way of engaging in the sport lol. Still rocking on Pro Evo 2008 on my PS3.

^^Part of me laughs at this, part of me cries at the prospect that I could have genuinely become a high earning professional drama queen.

Not actually from that way mate, so I don’t know any peeps from round there. It all came about years ago when I was a care worker, the lad I worked with was from Ponty, so whenever we went up to see his parents, his Dad would take us down to watch Ponty play – and this was when they had Neil Jenkins in their team too, some fuckin’ player him man!
