I don’t believe in “conspiracy theories” (there’s a fair few wild ones doing the rounds atm) but this is in part a sign of how successfully the semi-covert online drugs market is currently supplying the middle level dealers (hence why some have been busted when they resell it in horsemeatspace) but also the mainstream business community is looking at bitcoins as a way of reducing transaction costs and avoiding taxation (especially for online companies which in Europe have been caught out and criticised avoiding tax by other means).

March 5, 2013 at 1:58 pm #1129391its difficult when you move areas too, moved from Reading to Ipswich 7 years ago and trying to make new friends when you are well into your 30s is even harder than when you are younger (I do look younger than my age which helps but hanging around with far younger friends in a crowd what takes drugs gets you judged here and unfortunately that is understandable given some recent incidents).
TBH since I’ve been learning to drive I’ve had far more “excitement” than I’ve ever wanted – I’m not turning into Jeremy Clarkson crossed with Mr Toad by any means and I’m starting to enjoy it now and want to get my license as soon as I can as I never did this when younger – but especially being in a lower powered car with L plates its really shown how many oafs, idiots and psychopaths are on the roads these days. Some people clearly do not care for their own safety and they really are a danger to others…

Hell yeah mate, plenty of dickheads on the road unfortunately. Best to assume that they’re all incompetent and always be prepared man.

March 5, 2013 at 4:39 pm #1129392I drive out in the sticks and there is every kind of tractor on the road at the moment. These aren’t too bad as they are driven well and can go faster than folk think but its the fools who try to overtake them causing further hazards.
And what is it with blokes in branded works vans especialy from small local businesses who drive like complete idiots, park in fucking stupid places (when there is clearly space to put the van nearer to where the job is) or worse do stupid things like chat to their mate through the van window on a small rural road with traffic queued up at both sides?
I don’t mean minor things like being 2 mph over speed limit but where it is seriously inconvenient or even positively dangerous to others..
Fair enough Openreach, UK Power Networks and Anglian Water park in strange places as they obviously need to get to important stuff in or near the road but they at least put up barriers and signs and have all the correct markings on the van (plus authority to do this) Do the rest of them not realise the person behind them might one day need a builder or sparky or facilities management company and if they can’t use the roads co-operatively others will judge that their standards for their work might not also be so good? I hear a lot of tradesmen what work for bigger companies whinging about GPS and black box in their vans but if they drive like twats and damage the companys brand image I can’t blame the bosses for putting the spy kit in the works vehicles…

Exactly mate, they’re fucking it up for themselves and their employers – the irony is most of em are too stupid to comprehend this fact!

There are far less people who are open minded towards drugs at uni than I anticipated, although that could be because pretty much everyone at my college at least smoked weed so I guess I figured it was less of a minority of people who don’t stick to alcohol/tobacco.
