In the morning in the lounge its all dim and then when I have to leave its bright.

the last fluorescent light in the kitchen of my old house got ripped out in 2005 – it developed a earth fault on the ballast and as that house has older wiring with no RCD at the incomer, the metalwork of the bathroom became live..this was after a heavy weekend raving too – I was thinking “why am I getting a tingle off these taps, this is not right at all”
then I thought “OH FUCK!” immediately turned off all the electric to the house and isolated this bad lamp.. next day it was replaced with 3 x spotlights
if had got in the shower, I would not be here today. Also then my little sister and my mum were still living in the house and as Dad was no longer with us I am responsible for their safety.
That same weekend I had been working on 1950s 3-phase distribution board in squats to get power for squatters and rigs, without any incident. At yet in my suburban home in a fairly posh area of SE England, I was nearly electrocuted. It taught me never to let my guard down with electric…
