there aren’t many of the old skool “leftie” actually still found this side of the Channel.
Many of todays “Labour” politicians and supposed working class supporters are more right wing than my local MP who is a Tory what clearly went to public school, and still worship big business and economic growth.
The early Trades Union movement was more hostile to immigration than many Tories, and nearly got infiltrated by the National Front. But these days you only get that kind of leftie in France (and the hard right as well) – to be fair it means people work less hard but things cost way more in France because of it.
There’s also a big diference between political views and morals. I don’t like dominance of faith groups in society, but at their best they do put morals and discipline into people which is why my parents sent me to those Catholic schools. They might not turn you into a complete goody two shoes but they do at least set boundaries and make you think of the impact of actions on others.

my friend drew me a mustache with a sharpie earlier and then it wouldn’t come off so i had to walk home from college with a mustache drawn on my face.

However, the ink wears off on its own within two days or so, since the ink is on skin cells that are constantly being shed.

I know exactly what you mean mate. You get to friday and then feel like you’re missing out and want to get on it. I personally think that going completely cold turkey (unless you have to by law) doesn’t work. Just space out the time in between each sessions. 🙂
