if its clear then TBH it might be knackered, they seem made to fuck up after about a year or so to keep the companies what make them in business and feed the landfills. At work I am always replacing the damn things.. Also with laptops the touchpads recalibrate every now and then and it looks like the pointer is running away…

May 22, 2011 at 9:05 pm #1129269sometimes the computer does it on its own, thats why the pointer moves about for some reason. I’ve seen it happen on a few laptops TBH. I never liked those touchpads anyway, and always carry a separate USB mouse in my bag…

Yep checked the underside and all is clear , it seems to happen after ive clicked which makes me think its on its way out . Annoying things should last longer than a year !!!! , i guess you see it more than most what with your job and all .regards

May 25, 2011 at 4:04 pm #1128734hmm any kind of smell really hurts my nose and gives me a headache. especially dark chocolate and anything cooking and after i wake up its really bad! it’s like i have a hypersensitive nose. but i don’t want to go to the doctor cos he’ll think i’m wasting his time. but it really is a problem! AND the smell of fabric softener and stuff my mum uses in the washing is bad too. and fizzy drinks as well. it’s been on and off for like 3 weeks. somebody said it could be a brain tumour.
🙁 kmn. i just ate a jaffa cake and its really bad.

Unlikely to be a brain tumour but given its exam time its possible this is a side effect of stress – but I am no doctor. There must be some sort of healthcare professional you could approach – does your 6th form not give you access to whatever the modern equivalent of a school nurse is?
