Looks pretty good, the prices dont seem OTT like a lot of apple products. Basically it sits in the market with netbooks, looks a lot nicer and it operates like a iPhone ?iPod Touch so is simple to use..
but it doesn’t even run a real operating system its just an iphone (without the phone!) with a bigger screen. At least a netbook is a real computer that you can do whatever you wish with.

What do you mean by “real operating system”? Windows? Personally I like the look of it, however I aint going to make judgements till I have seen it and had a go myself. I have used a EEEE or what ever they are called a fair few times and it has been petty good, but this is something different.
It might be shit but from what I have seen so far it could be interesting..

Windows, Mac OS (or whatever its called), lynix (sp?). Just something you can use like a normal operating system not something that will only run 1 program at a time that you have to buy from their store.
probably fun though if u have a lot of cash and like gadgets. Just money wise its again just style over function. Looks lovely though same as the iphone, lovely design.

January 27, 2010 at 11:23 pm #1129129TBH if it were like a keyboardless Macbook it would be fine but if its locked down like a giant Iphone then that does seem a bit pointless.
My netbook currently runs XP but I’ve got the choice to stick Ubuntu or anything similar on it if I wanted…

After reading more into it I can now see its limitations, wont get one due to the fact I only use my desktop PC and the cost. If I had the money I would love one for general internet browsing, but I dont so ah well

wise move, it still suffers from one of the big problems of the iphone, u can only run one program at one time (a very out of date concept with smart phones). I mean for example currently my phone is running 4 programs at the same time. And I am only listening to internet radio.

Urgh, I want an iPhone so I can see what it can do other than what Apple say it can do. I loved Motorolas before as they were easy to hack/crack and do all sorts with, Might be time to get a new phone to tinker with….
