Just to add i still got the 500 mbs. If they take that away from me then I’m gonna defect to another phone company and tell my provider to shove the contract up their arse.
Man I’m proper angry today. I swear this cigarette withdrawal business is gonna be the end of me, everything is pissing me off.
If you have had ur phone contract for ages be well harsh with them and say u want to leave and their give u loads of stuff. You just need to get through to the “leaving” department who are there to offer u stuff to stay.
Worked for me anyway told them I wanted to leave got a 150 quid phone I sold, free unlimited internet and loads of free mins and txts all for 20 quid a month. They have quite a lot of power deals wise if your a good enough customer to bother keeping.
hope u get it sorted out either way man

Mobile Phone Contracts: Haggle right & save £600/year…
If you have been there that long they should be desperate to keep you so you should have a fair bit of power there.

Wicked mate cheers for that! Although If i get to keep my MBs then I’m not too fussed about this current issue. I got enough minutes, unlimited texts and at the moment so it’s a pretty good deal tbh.
However if they fuck with me and take my megabytes then i shall kick off and fight em.
My contract finishes soon anyway so i may use that link and try and get an Iphone S! raaa

January 27, 2010 at 5:42 pm #1129128Telecoms and IT companies have always been shit, they are worse than the days of the Post Office.
Its a ruthlessly competitive market particularly in big firms where every employee is treated like shit, thats why I work for a smaller company..
before they outsourced the call centres and other IT work to India (something I disagree with as well as it fucks over British Asians twice, we have to deal both with loss of work and a rise in racism) you just used to get English people (of all colours and backgrounds) who were too fucking sketchy to do their job properly, particularly in the 1980s and 1990s.
My family have even had credit card details stolen by a British call centre operator because we dared to complain about a service, another shop also blacklisted my Dad for complaining in 1985 and the marker was still there in 1998. they might be able to understand what you are saying but they would still fuck you around big time.
People “put up with it” because they get the free minutes/texts/more phones. I deal with a lot of business mobile contracts and they do use UK only staff (its one of my critera for selecting a supplier at work) but you get less free services and less choice of devices.
to be fair mobile deals today are a lot better than 10 years ago as even at the height of the dot com era companies didn’t give a fuck about customer service. Incidentally a lot of companies are moving call centres back to the UK as they are having a lot of problems with data theft etc, language barriers are becoming just a minor issue as the world becomes a more divided and hostile place…

Basically an I phone with better software. But you can just update your normal i-phone to it. So pretty lame. Oh and I think there is a 32 Gb option.

Looks pretty good, the prices dont seem OTT like a lot of apple products. Basically it sits in the market with netbooks, looks a lot nicer and it operates like a iPhone ?iPod Touch so is simple to use..
