i dunno mate, not really

i shy away from violence now. i’ve been there once… never again. changed me as a person.

The only time I ever bosh someone is if I feel they are about to smack me or a mate.

Learned my lesson years ago that with some people your not gonna talk your way out of the shit. (My mate got stabbed after we tried to be all reasonable).

As I get older I haven’t changed this policy, but I do tend to feel a bit nonplussed about it afterwards.

TBH I would have done the same (used to happen a lot when I was younger when people wound me up due to racism although I’m talking many years ago) and there was provocation, someone who winds up two people is often planning a fight of some sort

The risks though are either that this idiot will take it out on his partner worse, or if he knows you well enough to approach you in a pub may grass you up for something or other (not necessarily for hitting him)

TBH If I’d got into a similar situation I wouldn’t have posted about it on here though as it would be out of character enough for the feds to want to investigate (they’d probably think I was up to some crime or extremist stuff)

This subject line does sound like the fight scenes in the old Batman films

Actually where I used to live a couple of chaps did go around dressed as Batman and Robin “righting wrongs” (saving old ladies from being mugged etc) but it fucked up for them as one of them got nicked (not in costume) for beating up an old man at a rubbish tip

i can’t remember ever smacking someone except in self defence. i’m quite proud of that.

if someone is being aggy i get more out of bringing them down mentally than physically
