A selection of my own personal work. Drawings I have done while bored, inspired, stoned, tripping, etc..
Quite a few are influenced by listening to psytrance, but I can do them just the same completely sober with no music…obviously not as fun though. :biggreen:
In no order what so ever…
Wish I could have had them all scanned, but for now Im too lazy, so the last lot are photos.
..And one painting :
Enjoy. :bounce_fl:
May 8, 2005 at 6:38 pm #1065539Anonymouswoah! safe as fuck, they are well good. have you done any art for rigs apart from that aztek ting? any graff? looks like your style would suit the spray…
…youve inspired me to scan some of my sketchbooks..cheers!
May 8, 2005 at 6:51 pm #1065542Never done any art for rigs before, Im pretty new to the free party scene. Ive made a few fliers for bands I know. Thats it for now though.
Yeh I do graff as well, but Im not exactly willing to share anything over the net. I should probs get round to doing some more legal stuff. Hehe.
Would be great to see your sketchbooks, thanks for the nice words. :horay:
May 8, 2005 at 8:35 pm #1065540Anonymoushave you ever had a bash at vjing? i was purely a traditional media type artist till a mate of mine turned me on to computers…i scan work in, screw with them in photoshop, turn them into animations in aftereffects, then put them into a laptop-midi system, cut with film and other peoples work, then edit them live to music in clubs on a keyboard. its a wicked way of avoiding the sterile gallery scene, and you get to be on flyer for sicko nights, as there arent ebuff vjs to go round. having said that, ive not done any big gigs yet, mostly thru lazyness…
May 8, 2005 at 8:52 pm #1065543Id love to have a go at it some time, very interesting from what ive seen.
I have no idea how to get started though, along with having a very slow computer that wouldnt run any sort of video effects programs.
But its definitely something I want try in the future.
I just about get photoshop working on here, although just a bit slower than average. I have quite a good understanding of photoshop, but Im sure theres a lot more advanced features I could learn. Just takes more practice like everything else.
May 9, 2005 at 7:22 pm #1065536Took me a while to check them out, but they are quality. Nice work man.
May 9, 2005 at 10:51 pm #1065535Your work is wicked mate!!!
I’d be happy to see any of those brightening up my house. The first two seem to speak to me the most.
USE get some of your stuff up too! I love art and would love to be good at it, but alas i’m shit.
May 10, 2005 at 11:45 pm #1065534Anonymousstick to the pens bruv. not enough space in the graff scene for pyscobollox

May 11, 2005 at 1:48 pm #1065544Who said I was graffing psy art? I dont do arty graff, Im sticking with my bombing styles for now. :toxic: Haha.
Maybe I could use some of them in colour pieces, but you always need a lot of paint, which gets pricey.
My drawings are strictly pens for now.. so dont you worry Mashed. :satisfied

no room? make some room, oh narrow minded one!
May 14, 2005 at 12:50 pm #1065546Safe for those links, didnt know of that TCF exhibition in shoreditch, Ill check that out when its on, seeing as its 20 mins away from me.
Sickboy has fucking wicked style, I love his pieces. He already has his trademark temple things, but his full blown productions are just amazing.
Thanks for those mate.
