I say this as loads of friends of mine have found themselves on youtube on the party videos, some of them don’t realise for months as they don’t use computers regularly… most of the time its no real problem but its still a reduction of their privacy (it is after all being seen at an illegal event)

I have found myself on youtube before and I would rather not be on there, if I was the lad in the video I would not be happy about this video being on the net. I wouldn’t mind videos of me arsing about but there are some things I don’t want the world to see.

why would you want to film your son like that anyway? I read something on the net a while back about a group of adults that found out some kids were doing drugs and made him take aload of e’s and filmed it and put it on you tube as a warning.never saw the video myself but i know a couple of people who did.

TBH it looks more likely he was given the ket legitimately (same as the moggy) having done himself some sort of injury and requiring hospital treatment for that..

my friend went to see his mum after an op recently

and she was ketted off her head,

he said it would have been funny if it wasnt for the fact it was his mum……

I watched something about plastic surgury the other week and there was a girl on there showing a brest op and she was moaning, doctor said she’s hallucanating of the ketamine.Also i herd somewhere its what they use to do operations on babys.

the worst part of this is had the video been presented in a different manner and context we’d probably all be discussing how skilled and intelligent vets are!

The real problem isn’t Clliffy who found this whilst presumably bored and looking for ketamine related videos, its whoever uploaded this video to youtube. I suspect it was a student at the vet college, doing so without any authorisation from their tutors. its a serious breach of confidentiality and potentially a risk to the college, if they leak out any more info that could identify it whos to say the more extreme animal rights campaigners may not get completely the wrong idea about what was going on there and take direct action?

A camera can be as powerful as a pistol or rifle and must be used responsibly. if not, our freedom to use these things can be easily limited (youtube is already increasingly starting to censor content fairly quickly on the request of copyright holders or complainers)

incidentally because of the fear of privacy breaches (particularly the “nonce/voyeur hysteria” in some areas it is now no longer considered acceptable to take photos in a public place without (even informallly) telling someone in authority – several snappers have had cameras and film seized by the OB recently…
