It looks like some sort of teaching hospital for vets, I expect it has been taken from a training video of some sort.

it is probably off a perfectly legitimate operation on this unfortunate animal, and shows the recovery process, but it does beg the question, of whether the release of the footage to Youtube was authorised by that vet surgery or the pet cats owners?

in context its a valuable video for teaching (it shows how you must keep watch on the patients respiratory processes during anaesthesia (hence the CPR guidelines in the background) – but releasing this sort of stuff for “entertainment” is on dodgy ground.

Some phones have an “offline” mode where they don’t connect for signal but you can still use all the other functions EG MP3 player, Video player etc

a lot of places have changed their policies recently

fair enough, I expect his mates and his mum would have all visited him in hospital, but does he know he’s on youtube?

I say this as loads of friends of mine have found themselves on youtube on the party videos, some of them don’t realise for months as they don’t use computers regularly… most of the time its no real problem but its still a reduction of their privacy (it is after all being seen at an illegal event)

yeah forgot about that (I’ve got it on my phone as well, in fact i’ve triggered the thing on that mode before and wondered for a bit why I couldn’t make/receive calls!)
