i CRB checked myself and nothing before I was 18 came up
When I got cautioned, i wasn’t told how long it would be until it was spent, but the cop told me it wouldn’t affect me getting a job. Would it still show up on this CRB thing (It was a couple of months ago)? And how long is it generally until cautions are spent?

September 1, 2007 at 1:16 pm #1118910If you’re really worried about it, why not fork out the £15 and get a copy for yourself. That way you can see exactly what it says and can have a good think about what to say about it before you fill out your application forms.
I had an enhanced one done not long ago by PGL for a job as a watersports instructor (teaching kids between 12 and 18). I managed to clock up a few offences back in the day including one or two for violence but I was completely honest about it in my application and they gave me the job.
I also noticed a leaflet in the job centre about how much information you have to give in a job application. I can’t remember what it said now tho.
