That’s great! 3 in-a-row days of complete happiness is really hard to achieve. I’m glad that you can get through it and are strong enough to pass up those kind of things. In the end though, it’s worth it to pass up something you want in the moment rather than passing up something you want in the long run
TBH although not true of late 3 days of total happiness is easy for me. I spend little time on the middle ground, I’m either on cloud 9 or at rock bottom. I’m such a drama queen lol. What’s going to be more difficult than saying no to a pill is tolerating drunk people if I’m sober myself. Drunks piss me off like nothing else for some reason.
April 25, 2013 at 7:16 pm #1272328It’s the repeatition for me, they keep asking you what they asked you before, so not only is the drunk repeatative but then you find yourself becomiing repeatative too and none of you’s get anywhere lol.

This becomes 10x if you throw cocaine into the mix, which most do.

I see, yeah that is frustrating. Is it only like the angry drunks that bother you, or everyone because you’re not drinking?

Just general drunk behaviour. I’ve never been a fan of drinking and don’t drink myself. Have done though, plenty of times so it isn’t like I’m just ignorantly judging them. Alcohol is shit, FACT. People only drink it because the government offers it. Drinking numbers would significantly drop if alcohol was made illegal or if all the illegals were legalised. FACT.

I agree that the drinking numbers would drop, but I have to disagree with “alchohol is shit.” I really enjoy drinking. I don’t do it all the time, basically on the weekends and special occasions and I just find it to be relaxing depending on the people I’m around. Now if it gets out of control and abusive, then obviously it’s not fun. I’m a happy drunk though so maybe that’s why I’m so for it. I find that it really helps me to open up and socialize with people I would never talk to if I was sober. Everyone’s different though

I’m a happy drunk too when I choose to drink. Compared to all other drugs it is crap. Imagine if you’d been born in a time where all drugs were available as freely as alcohol is now. Each produced under government guidelines and to meet strict quality control standards, much like how pharmaceuticals are made. But each also available from its own version of a ‘bar’ or ‘club’ and supported by public advertising. Can you honestly say that you still think you’d have much interest in alcohol?

Yes. I fucking love wine man. Also they DID make alcohol illegal in the 1920s in America. It didn’t work.
April 25, 2013 at 11:56 pm #1272335I absolutely love drink, granted its not for some people, but getting pissed up on a summers day and having a frolic is the park is just perfect
April 26, 2013 at 6:45 am #1272329I like a drink, but that again is about moderation and i don’t really feel like drinking more than around once a month or so.
I found since living in Britain i’ll more often choose ‘a nice cup of tea’ over a beer =)

Im having a cuppa right now
Makes me laugh, all these terrorist who think they can change things being blowing stuff up, protesters who think they can change things by walking round with placards etc etc
Fear, money, oil, media, none of things matter to us Brits, if you want to control Britain you need to control the tea
The TEA must flow !!!
April 26, 2013 at 7:45 am #1272344i fall asleep before i get drunk these days, after several whiskeys I’ve nodded off.
April 26, 2013 at 8:00 am #1272330Saying that though Mezz, if the tea was stopped or banned then there would be huuuge protests and riots around Britain!
Tbf, protesting is about educating the dumber people in society who are oblivious to what’s happening. When the occupy stuff was happening in every city i remember getting hounded by a lot of people walking up to us and asking what we think we could achieve by occupying the garden square in Edinburgh (I hung around at weekends for something to do) These were men that wore working men suits a lot of the time and always look very stressed/worn out.
And we would explain that we knew fine well that the government/banks would still do whatever they wanted to do and that we were merely educating society about what’s really going on under our noses.
And also to prove to the reptillians that we weren’t going to be quiet keep our heads down and be good little sheep.April 26, 2013 at 8:05 am #1272258@korno 543073 wrote:

I’m a Reptilian and I resent the stance so many of your kind have taken against us. We are hardworking citizens just like anyone else. Did you know that at least 30% of the Reptilian population in the UK live below the poverty line? I have been assaulted by many an Alex Jones listener with all sorts of weapons and these kinds of things give me flashbacks.
I dream of a world where my people will be judged not by the toughness of our scales, but by the content of our character.
April 26, 2013 at 8:08 am #1272331You’re good.. That’s…. scary lol
April 26, 2013 at 8:10 am #1272259Look just cos some of our shapeshifts fail on international TV doesn’t mean you can discriminate. We try hard to do our part for society.
April 26, 2013 at 8:12 am #1272260On a serious note, I did participate a bit in Occupy London and felt a lot of sympathy for the organisation but I’ve seen what a lot of the people have gotten up to now and I feel that it’s lost a lot of its original intent. The problem with these kinds of protests is sometimes you get hangers-on who are there just because they like to kick up a fuss which dilutes the bigger message. Then of course media like Fucks’ News (for OWS) or daily mail interview a bunch of clueless twats and not the people who have genuine concern for the state of affairs.
Though I do find the people who want us to go back to the gold standard a bit..misguided.

Most protests are just a waste of time and an annoyance to those they inconvenience, in fact I would go as far as to say protests sometimes have to opposite effect when the people turn against protesters because of the inconvenience/damage they cause even if they agree with what they are saying. Also protesters often claim to be educating but thats just an ego trip, the people know exactly what the protesters know, often more, they just dont care enough to do anything about it.
Tea is something people in Britain care enough about, sadly little wars, moneymen having more power than elected politicians etc people dont care enough about.
April 26, 2013 at 8:41 am #1272332I know what you’re saying yep, and i suppose the people that don’t know like n.e.ds for example, – Don’t give a shit anyway. If you give a shit, you’d probably know.
i don’t bother with small protests myself but i thought occupy was worth some of my time.April 26, 2013 at 9:55 am #1272275@barrettone 543036 wrote:

Very true mate – and then people say ‘Alcohol’s only illegal because prohibition doesn’t work’, yet don’t apply the same logic to drugs, which is just mental, mental, chicken oriental!
April 29, 2013 at 6:34 pm #1272241Apparently I have an IQ of 146.
Top 5% bitches, ner ner neerrr ner ner. :laugh_at:
(not sure how accurate the test was tbh, as a proper IQ test is supposed to be done with someone sitting in on it and observing you afaik, this was just an online one everyone does).

What a twat! I meant to say ‘Alcohol’s only LEGAL because…’
BOOM! A PROPER GRAMMAR NAZI WILL ALWAYS BE STRICTEST ON HIMSELF!

Lol, I noticed that mistake but thought I’d leave you to notice it yourself.
You won’t always have me to look out for you:wink:
