Represented school athletics team at shot and discus, but never could master the art of the javelin. Glad I didn’t looking at that.

never been any good before or since, with shoes that fit anyway

Most of my mates who did enjoy sports/athletics seemed to end up in the Emergency Department at least once every school year, or have pulled some muscle or broken a bone…

someone had keeled over in a dark alley; and the paramedics couldnt see to get the drip into a vein; so they got the camera operator to bring over their 100W sun-gun on-camera light… problem solved…

LOL. Yeah those bloody shorts in the eighties never had the inner mesh lining that they do nowadays.
