There have been a fair few of instances of people from minority groups using their negative stereotypes as a way to intimidate others. in the city you get the “rude boy” gangs of blacks and asians and some of them do even claim to have links to extremist religions and terrorism (particularly in London, thats where the whole “Londonistan” thing comes from)

There is also always that disagreement over the use of derogatory terms and whether they can be reclaimed by minority groups (indeed boothy was understandably curious about why I often use the term Londonistan)

Incidentally there is an Asian radio station /website called Paki FM!

somehow I don’t think this is a front for the BNP (PMSL at those blinged up cars too, typical Asian wideboy motor) – but all those chaps are probably accountants and students rather than al-quaeda..

And if some person has been mugged or ripped off by an Asian guy I wouldn’t be surprised if they are a bit wary when they first meet me and it would take a while to regain trust – of course many may not use a derogatory term to my face but they have that wariness and mistrust (I’ve noticed that even at raves)

but in the conext of what TG and others are discussing, they are certainly not claiming everyone from a particular minority is bad..

I’m not being funny but you really don’t know me well enough to call me a slag, also if you did know me you would know that i grew up around traverlers as my mum was quite friendly with some who live in and around rochdale area, i would never discriminate against someone because of there race or background. we all bleed red blood and everyone is equal. all i mearly did was qoute something off another website here is the link so you can see.
